Today students discussed the causes of the French Revolution, the major changes that took place during the French Revolution, the Reign of Terror, and the failure of the Directory and the revolution. They also checked the accuracy of their reading notes.Enrichment Activity: Students may choose to watch a seciton of the Presidential debate tonight and writing a reaction paragraph about something they found interesting.

Wednesday, Oct. 24th
Today students looked at Napoleon's achievements and failures. After compiling a list of the two they decided if Napoleon was a good or bad leader and used evidence to support their conclusions in a three paragraph essay.Homework: Complete the Napoleon: Good or Bad essay (3 paragraphs)
Thursday, Oct. 25th
Students will review today for their French Revolution and Napoleon Quiz on Friday.Homework: STUDY for Quiz!!!
Friday, Oct. 26th

National History Day
- NHD students have three primary sources due MONDAY, OCTOBER 29th.
- If your student got a source returned to them that needs to be replaced they must do so by MONDAY, OCTOBER 29th.
- If your student did not turn in three secondary sources on Friday, Oct. 19th they must do so before Monday Oct. 29th. Otherwise there three primary sources will not be accepted and they will receive a zero for both deadlines.
- We will be launching a CJHS NHD website in the coming weeks to help students navigate the source and project requriements. A blog update and a reminder text will be sent out to inform parents and students of its launch.
