Week of Nov. 5th - 9th

Monday, Nov. 5th

Students will look at the problems created during the Industrial Revolution and weigh them against the benefits that come out of the Industrial Revolution. After making a t-chart of the problems and benefits, students will wrote a five paragraph reason that gives detail on the reasons why they think the Industrial Revolution was worth or was not worth the problems it created.

Homework:
  • Complete "Was it worth it" essay, Due TUESDAY!
  • STUDY!!!!

Tuesday, Nov. 6th

Students will prepare for their Industrial Revolution test by playing the review game Jeopardy.

Homework: STUDY!!!

Wednesday, Nov. 7th

TEST DAY!!! Students will take the Industrial Revolution test. If they finish with time in class they will work on the next chapters notes in class.

Homework: 19-4 Reading Notes due FRIDAY!

Thursday, Nov. 8th

Students will take the "Special Needs Assessment Survey." This survey is anonymous and required by the district. It will take nearly the entire period to complete.

Friday, Nov. 9th

Today we will introduce Nationalism and Nation-States (19-4) to the students by looking at what nationalism is and how it effected Europe and Latin America. We will also discuss briefly the US Western Expansion or Manifest Destiny and the Civil War.
